Sometimes I am disappointed by the fact that we can only be one place at once. There are so many things to do in a day, and so many places to go, that it is just impossible to do what you need to do in order to survive as well as relax and enjoy yourself. Nick always says if there were 28 hours in a day, I’d be perfect; because I am always trying to get things done and have enough time to sleep.
Today I am sacrificing my Saturday to spend time with Nick as he attends a Magic the Gathering Tournament. It is the pre-release of the new set, so I guess it is a big deal. I gave him three “coupons” that I designed and made, for christmas that said I would go to one tournament from January to March, one from April to August, and one from September to December… Therefore, I only have to attend 3 magic tournaments this year.. :D
Anyway, point is, there are many things I could be doing in Auburn today, but I am sitting in Montgomery on my computer in a room full of large smelly men playing some card game…
So I make the best of what I have, and blog!
I didn’t get to post yesterday. and I apologize for that I worked all day, went straight to a movie, and then went to sleep!

We had lots of fun at Perch last night. The cupcakes were delicious and the boots were adorable! (My mom came by and so nicely bought me a pair! They were on sale dad!)
Hamilton, my sister came an designed an awesome necklace focused on “Time” I wish I had a picture! maybe she can email me one!

Tyler and I saw No Strings Attached last night, and it was really funny! I was completely insulted by the movie theater, the woman made me walk all the way back to my car to get my i.d. for the R rated movie… I have been getting into R rated movies without any problem since I was 14. It just seemed a little silly, and we were already late because work ran late!
but, the movie was funny. Natalie Portman actually made this funny romantic comedy a good movie. I found myself tearing up some, and the guys in the theater were ACTUALLY enjoying the movie!

I was researching design blogs yesterday and came across this amazing video…
I love publication design, that is what I mainly want to do, and this short clip shows the making of a magazine over a two month span. It is just amazing and inspiring to me; it gave me a little tingle inside to know that I could be doing something like that one day. There is just something so beautiful about this magazine. It is actually a Film Review magazine, I believe, but I want to order the subscription just to look at the layout, type, and design work inside. Truly amazing.
check it out!
